Uncontrolled moisture can cause corrosion of metals and the failure of electronic devices. Moisture sensitive equipment (MDSs) andequipment such as lenses and electro-optics can also be affected resulting in failure or reduced performance.  ROSAHL reduces the moisture to safe levels.

Removes condensation risk in enclosures

ROSAHL small cabinet dehumidifiers offer economical electrical air drying for small enclosures offering manufacturers and alternative way to tropicalise a cabinet, or protect electrical control panels and MSDs by removing moisture and avoiding condensation risk.

ROSAHL is a solid state polymer membrane that mounts on the side of an enclosure.  When a 3V dc supply is attached, water vapour inside the cabinet is attracted to the membrane where electrolysis splits it into constituent parts.  The hydrogen ions then migrate through the membrane to recombine with oxygen on the outside. Maintenance-free for use in remote locations

With a workable service life of over five years; requiring no maintenance; having compact dimensions; silent operation and with a low power consumption it is a unique solution for fit-and-forget applications.  When the cost of a service visit or return to base warranty is impractical, ROSAHL is the ideal solution.

CCTV and IP camera application

The smallest unit is the RD3 and has dimension of 16 x 24 x 5mm excluding electrical terminations, and is suitable for air drying sealed cabinets up to two litres in summer or winter conditions.  They have no moving parts and create no noise or vibration. For example, Rosahl membrane dehumidifiers can be used for indoor and outdoor CCTV and IP camera applications, LED lighting and similar applications.

The membranes can be controlled using a humidistat if required, or run 24/7.  Average annual power consumption for the PD3 model at 3V is 80mW. A range of larger membranes is available for enclosures up to 4m³.
